Exabyte 4200 Tape Unit with Future Domain 1650: STOP Message

SYMPTOMS

When you use an Exabyte 4200 tape backup unit with a Future Domain 1650 SCSI controller, a STOP message appears:

   STOP: 0x0000000A

WORKAROUND

To workaround this problem, use another supported SCSI adapter.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT and Windows NT Advanced Server version 3.1. This problem has been corrected in the latest U.S. Service Pack for Windows NT and Windows NT Advanced Server version 3.1.
