Outlining and Drawing Operations Not Supported in Workgroup

The information in this article applies to:

Microsoft Excel for Windows, versions 3.0, 4.0, 4.0a, 5.0
Microsoft Excel for the Macintosh, versions 3.0, 4.0

The outlining and the drawing operations are not supported in workgroup mode. All graphic-associated commands are disabled and Excel does not track the cursor over objects. When you are in workgroup mode, all selected objects on all sheets in the workgroup are canceled.
