Partial Printouts When Printing in Draft Mode to an HP DeskJet

SUMMARY

When printing from Microsoft Excel 3.00 to a Hewlett-Packard (HP) DeskJet, you might receive a partial printout if you have selected the Draft option in the dialog box that appears when you choose Print from the File menu.

Workaround

In Microsoft Excel, you can print in draft mode by selecting Print from the File menu and placing a checkmark in the Draft box. If you are having problems with incomplete print jobs, cancel the Draft selection and instead, push the Draft button on the DeskJet printer itself. You should now be able to print in draft mode with no problem.
