Q+E Err Msg: Cannot Initialize

Last reviewed: November 2, 1994
Article ID: Q60641

SUMMARY

When starting up Q+E, the "Cannot Initialize" error can result if you have a "SET TEMP=C:\TEMP" statement in your AUTOEXEC.BAT and don't have the appropriate directory (in this case, "TEMP") made or if you indicate an invalid drive.

To correct this problem, either create the appropriate directory or change the "SET TEMP" statement equal to "C:\".
