Multiple Tape Set with Iomega 250 Tape Backup in NT

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Windows NT or Windows NT Advanced Server, if Verify After Backup is enabled when you perform a backup of a hard drive that requires more than one tape, it repetitively asks for Tape 1.

STATUS

Iomega Corporation have confirmed this to be a problem with Iomega 250 Tape in Windows NT version 3.1. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
