No VESA 800 x 600 Mode on Dell DGX Computer

SYMPTOMS

If you choose VESA 800X600 video mode on a Dell DGX machine, the resulting video resolution is 640 x 480.

CAUSE

The on-board video adapter on this machine does not support this video mode.

RESOLUTION

You can either run another of the DGX video modes or obtain a new video adapter.
