Not All Groups Are Listed in File Manager in User Browser

SYMPTOMS

On a domain with more than 50 groups, you may see only a small percentage listed in the permissions editor in File Manager (in the user browse list). You are able to access all the groups, but have to type the names of the ones not listed.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT and Windows NT Advanced Server version 3.1. This problem was corrected in the latest U.S. Service Pack for Windows NT and Windows NT Advanced Server version 3.1.
