Nwconv.exe Can't Migrate 2-Character NetWare Server

SYMPTOMS

This problem occurs after you start the Migration Tool for NetWare, select the NetWare and Windows NT Servers to do the migration, then select File Options. When you get to the File Options screen, the Source Files and Destination are blank.

RESOLUTION

Rename the NetWare server to a name with three or more characters, run the migration, then change the name back if necessary.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version 4.0. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
