SBS Console Hangs When Using True Color

SYMPTOMS

When you open the Console in "To Do List" or when you click "Return to the To Do List" from the Main Tasks page, the Console will stop responding (hang), causing Windows NT to freeze.

RESOLUTION

Change the Resolution to 65,000 colors or less and the problem will be eliminated.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft BackOffice Small Business Edition. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
