Microsoft includes a Software Compatibility Test with copies of the Win32 Software Development Kit (SDK) released since March, 1993. This kit includes 16-bit debugging support to enable you to debug an application in Windows NT. You can use the kit to independently test your application for compatibility with Windows NT. Microsoft worked with many independent software vendors (ISVs) and sought their input to enhance the compatibility of Windows NT with applications developed for 16-bit Windows 3.1 and for MS-DOS.
