Window Background Color Does Not Change in Q+E

SUMMARY

In Windows, the window background color for open files can be changed with the Windows Control Panel by choosing Preferences Screen Colors. The window text color can also be changed here. Changing the window background color does not apply to Q+E; the color will always be white.

Since the Q+E background color is always white, if the window text color is changed to white, an open file in Q+E appears without data, row numbers, or field names. Modifying the window text to a color other than white enables you to view these files.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Q+E Version 2.10. We are researching this problem and will post new information as it becomes available.
