Opening the Dr. Watson application reveals that an error exists in the :\\DRWATSON.LOG file. CAUSE ===== The Windows directory is the root directory of a logical drive, and the logical drive is listed in the MS-DOS PATH environment variable in the AUTOEXEC.BAT file. RESOLUTION ========== To work around this problem, do not map the Windows directory to the root directory of a logical drive. STATUS ====== Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem with Dr. Watson version 3.1, which is provided with Windows version 3.1.
