TAB is a sample application that demonstrates the differences between modal and modeless dialog boxes. It also demonstrates using a dialog box within a dialog box, changing the text in a push button, tabbing between push buttons, and disabling a push button. TAB also demonstrates how an application processes the messages received when the user selects a push button.

Download TAB.EXE, a self-extracting file, from the Microsoft Software Library (MSL) on the following services:

  • Microsoft Download Service (MSDL)

          Dial (206) 936-6735 to connect to MSDL
          Download TAB.EXE (size: 22882 bytes) 
    
  • Internet (anonymous FTP)

          ftp ftp.microsoft.com
          Change to the \SOFTLIB\MSLFILES directory
          Get TAB.EXE (size: 22882 bytes)
