1. Q. How do I change the default font in Word 2.0 for Windows?

   A. To change the Word default font, use the following two steps:

      1. From the Format menu, choose Character.

      2. After you select the font you want to use, choose the Use As
Default button, then choose the Yes button to confirm this
         change.

2. Q. Why can't I see my Adobe Type Manager fonts listed in Word for
      Windows?

   A. If Adobe Type Manager has just been installed, the Word for
Windows initialization file needs to be updated. To update this
file, choose Print Setup from the File menu. Select the desired
printer and choose the OK button. The list of available fonts
      should now be correctly displayed.

3. Q. Why do the fonts on the screen look different from the fonts on
      my printout?

   A. For information on the differences between screen fonts and
printer fonts, refer to page 143 in the "Word for Windows User's
Guide" or see your Windows documentation.

4. Q. Where are the fonts I had in Microsoft Word for MS-DOS?

   A. Word for MS-DOS requires its own fonts. Word for Windows uses
fonts supplied by Windows. The fonts in Word for MS-DOS cannot
be used in Windows. For more information about fonts used in
Windows, refer to page 143 in the "Word for Windows User's
