SYMPTOMS

When you use the Newsletter Wizard (NEWSLTTR.WIZ) to create a newsletter document in Word for Windows, the wizard prompts you for the name of your newsletter. In the dialog box, the following message appears:

TIP: You can edit the name later.

However, once you choose the Finish button to close the wizard and create your newsletter document, the method for changing the name of your newsletter is neither obvious nor documented. For example, there is no Modify Newsletter Name menu command or toolbar button.

WORKAROUNDS

Use one of the following methods to change the newsletter name:

Method 1: If you have not yet chosen the Finish button to close the

Newsletter Wizard, you can choose the Back button until the
Newsletter Name prompt appears. Type a new name and then choose
          the Next or Finish button.

Method 2: If you have already chosen the Finish button and closed the
Newsletter Wizard, use the following instructions to change the
Newsletter Name in the Word document:

          a. Select the title on the first page of the newsletter and type
             a new title.

          b. If your newsletter contains more than one page, you must also
change the newsletter name in the header of the document. To
do this, choose Header And Footer from the View menu.
