WD: Status Bar Doesn't Show File Name, Page, Section Information

SYMPTOMS

When you open a document from the Find File results list, the status bar displays the file name and the number of characters in the document. When you click a toolbar button or the menu bar, the status bar changes to display the help text for the selected command. The status bar does not refresh unless you open a dialog box.

WORKAROUND

To refresh the status bar, open any dialog box, and then click Cancel.
