WD: Time, Date Not Updated in Header or Footer in MacWord

SUMMARY

Once the time or date has been inserted into a header or footer using the time/date icon in the header/footer window, the time or date won't be updated again until one of the following occurs:

  • The header/footer is closed and opened again.
  • The document is closed and opened again.
  • The document is repaginated.
  • The document is viewed in Print Preview.
  • The document is printed.
