FieldSeparator

Syntax:

FieldSeparator$ Separator$ FieldSeparator$()

Example:

This sample macro checks for the current value of the field separator. If the separator is "%" it proceeds with the conversion, otherwise it saves the current value, changes to "%", converts and restores to the saved value.

      If FieldSeparator$() - "|" Then
         TextToTable
      Else
         fs$ - FieldSeparator$()
         FieldSeparator$ "|"
         TextToTable
         FieldSeparator$ fs$
     End If
   End Sub
