WD6X:Graphics, Borders Print Incorrectly to Color ImageWriter II

SYMPTOMS

Color graphics, borders, and shading are not printed in color when you print to an ImageWriter II with a color ribbon; however, text does print correctly.

WORKAROUND

Use Apple's QuickDraw GX with the ImageWriter GX driver. Word prints color graphics, borders, and shading correctly when using QuickDraw GX.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Word versions 6.0 and 6.0.1 for the Macintosh. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
