WD98: Cannot Record Inserting a Movie

SYMPTOMS

When you record inserting a movie into a Word document, nothing happens when you play the macro back.

CAUSE

Nothing is recorded because Visual Basic for Applications does not include a QuickTime object model.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
