SYMPTOMS

Sometimes the following error message appears in Word for Windows:

   Unrecoverable disk error on rosoft Word.

CAUSE

The word "rosoft" is a truncation of the word "Microsoft." Microsoft has not yet determined the exact cause of this problem. We are researching the problem and will post more information here when it becomes available.
