SUMMARY

Microsoft Word for Windows includes a Create Envelope command that allows you to create and print an envelope created from the address of a letter. You can change the default position of the return address if you want it to print lower on the envelope. This can be helpful if you want to include a graphic, such as a company logo, on your envelope.

MORE INFORMATION

To move the position of the return address lower on the envelope, use the following steps:

1. Open a document that includes a letter and an address. From the

Tools menu, choose Create Envelope. Alternatively, choose the Envelope
   button on the tool bar.

2. Position the insertion point in the Return Address field, and press
ENTER two or three times to move the Return Address down.

3. Choose either the Print Envelope button (to print the envelope) or
the Add to Document button (to display it on the screen).

4. The following message appears on the screen:

Do you want to save the new return address as the default
      mailing address?

   Choose the Yes button.

The return address now prints lower on the envelope, allowing room for a company logo or other graphic.
