SYMPTOMS

When running Word version 6.0 or 6.0a and version 2.0x at the same time, if you choose Getting Started from the Word 2.0x Help menu, your machine may hang (stop responding).

In some cases, you may receive the following error, allowing you to cancel out of Getting Started.

     This is taking longer than expected, do you wish to continue
     waiting?

WORKAROUND

Close Word 6.0 before running Getting Started from Word 2.0.
