DrawSnapToGrid

Syntax

DrawSnapToGrid .SnapToGrid = number [, .XGrid = number or text] [, .YGrid = number or text] [, .XOrigin = number or text] [, .YOrigin = number or text]

Example

The following macro demonstrates the use of the DrawSnapToGrid statement by establishing a grid that restricts where drawing objects may be positioned and how they may be sized. The macro establishes a 1 inch vertical and horizontal grid starting 1 inch from the top and left side of the page.

Before running the macro, place the insertion point in a new blank document and select Page Layout view.

After running the macro, if you try to draw a drawing object, you will restricted to the grid set in the macro.
