A template is included with Word for Windows that is based on a book published by the University of Chicago Press called "A Manual for Writers of Term Papers, Theses, and Dissertations," by Kate Turabian.

Note: Though the template is based on the Turabian publication, it is not standardized to it.

In Word version 2.0 for Windows this template is named, DISSER2.DOT. In Word version 1.x for Windows this template is named, DISSERT.DOT
