Click on Settings and choose a phone number from the phonebook. 2. Click OK on Settings and retry 'Request New Password'. Click on Help for troubleshooting information. CAUSE ===== This behavior can occur if you do not reselect the MSN access numbers when you upgrade from the OEM release of MSN 2.5 (version 2.5.0.217). RESOLUTION ========== To resolve this issue, reselect the MSN access numbers. To do this, follow these steps: 1. Double-click the MSN icon on the desktop. 2. On the MSN Sign-In screen, click Settings. 3. On the Dialing tab, next to the Phone Number box, click Phone Book. 4. In the Country box, click the country you are located in. 5. In the State Or Region box, click the state or region you are located in. 6. In the Access Numbers box, click the appropriate access number for your area, and then click OK. 7. On the Dialing tab, next to the Backup Number box, click Phone Book. 8. Repeat steps 4-6 to select an appropriate backup access number for your area. 9. Click OK to return to the MSN Sign-In screen.
