SYMPTOMS
========

Compaq IA-2 devices only.

 - The unit displays a completely blank screen despite the fact that it is
   powered up and unplugging the device and rebooting does not fix the problem.

 - This problem happens 100% of the time.

 - Despite the blank screen, you can still hear the various connection sounds
   that the device makes.

 - The power indicator light is on. (The indicator lights are on the top center
   of the device in a group of three. The power indicator light is the one on
   the left.)

CAUSE
=====

There is a problem with the hardware.

RESOLUTION
==========

If you receive support requests from customers who wish to return MSN Companion
Internet devices, direct them to contact Compaq. Do not refer these customers
back to Radio Shack.
