SUMMARY
=======

This article describes how to add an additional MSN Internet Access "primary
paying account" on a computer that already has a paid account set up. This
article describes how to add these types of accounts in the same Windows XP User
Tile or in different Windows XP User Tile. Note: When adding additional paid MSN
Internet Access accounts, you are still limited to a total of nine user tiles (a
total of nine paid or free accounts) on one computer. If you reach that limit,
you will first need to remove user tile(s) (delete accounts), and then add
additional account(s).

First, disable automatic .NET Passport log on, and then sign in with each user
tile (if you have more than one).

To disable automatic .NET Passport log on

1. Click Start and then click Control Panel.

2. Double-click the User Accounts icon.
   If more than one Windows XP user is listed, click the icon for the user
   associated with the MSN Explorer user tile that you want to remove.

3. Click the Manage my Network Passwords link.

4. Select the Passport.Net profile in the list displayed, and then click the
   Remove button.
   A message appears stating The selected logon information will be deleted.

5. Click OK.

6. Quit the Stored User Name and Passwords, User Accounts, and Control Panel
   windows.
   You should now be able to remove user tiles by signing in to MSN Explorer,
   clicking Help and Settings, clicking Accounts, and then clicking Remove User.

To add additional paid MSN Internet Accounts via your own Microsoft Windows XP
user tile

1. Sign in to your Microsoft Windows XP User tile.
   Note: The setting must be set to ADMIN.

2. Start MSN Explorer.

3. Press CTRL+SHIFT+F12.
   A Dialing Credentials window will appear.

4. Click OK.

5. Have the person who wants to add the additional MSN Internet Access "primary
   paying account" click Add New User.
   The user will we walked through instructions to set up the account.

To add additional paid MSN Internet Access accounts in Windows XP if you have
multiple User Tiles

1. Sign in to the Microsoft Windows XP User Tile that you wish to add as an
   additional MSN Internet Access "primary paying account".
   If a Microsoft Windows XP User Tile does not exist, you must create one, and
   then give this profile Administrative privileges.

2. Start MSN Explorer and do one of the following:
    - If you see a user tile on the Welcome screen, press CTRL+SHIFT+F12, click
      OK, and then click Add New User and add the additional MSN Internet Access
      account.

    - If MSN Explorer starts and you see the Welcome to MSN Explorer sign-up
      screen, click Continue, and then follow the instructions to add a MSN
      Internet Access account.
      You now can add secondary accounts associated with the MSN Internet Access
      "primary paying account".
