Microsoft Outlook Exchange Server Edition for the Apple Macintosh includes the following new features and improvements: - S/MIME. Support for message signing and encryption using S/MIME version 2 when used with Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5 Service Pack 1. - Outlook Calendar Support. Group scheduling across platforms is now available. Users are now able to view Read Only details of a Windows Outlook user's calendar. A Macintosh client, setup with delegate permissions, can now view details for a Windows Outlook 97 or above 32- bit client. - Support for Mac OS 8.5. MORE INFORMATION ================ To install the Macintosh client, perform the following steps: 1. Place the Macintosh client CD in your Macintosh CD drive, or connect to a share on your network. (You may also download this from ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/bussys/exchange/exchange-public/fixes/Eng/Exchg5.5/SP2/Mac/) 2. Open the folder for the language you want to install, if necessary. 3. Open the first installation disk folder. 4. Click Microsoft Outlook Setup, and follow the instructions. 5. Run Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Calendar, or Microsoft Outlook only. System Requirements: - For optimal performance, we recommend Mac OS 8.0 or later. Additionally, on the Power Macintosh, we recommend that the virtual memory be set to ON and set to a minimum of 1 MB above the installed physical memory. - 8 MB of RAM or at least 16 MB of virtual memory is necessary to run Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Calendar.
