SUMMARY

If you are running Microsoft Excel for the Macintosh with Apple Macintosh system software version 7.0, 7.01, or 7.1, if the amount of memory your operating system uses increases, and if this memory is not released when you exit Microsoft Excel, it may be an indication that the fonts on your system are damaged.

WORKAROUND

To fix the damaged fonts, use the original font disks to reinstall the damaged fonts.
