SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Excel version 5.0, if you delete or move a worksheet, all open workbooks are recalculated. This problem occurs regardless of the calculation setting (that is, it occurs even if Calculation is set to Manual).

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in Microsoft Excel for Windows version 5.0c.
