Messages could not be sent. Make sure that the mail service on this Microsoft Exchange Server computer is running. CAUSE ===== The Microsoft Exchange Directory Service is configured to log on as the wrong account. RESOLUTION ========== To resolve this issue, confirm that the Microsoft Exchange Directory Service is configured to log on using the correct Exchange Service Account. To do so, follow these steps: 1. Click Start, click Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click Services. 2. Select the Microsoft Exchange Directory Service, and then click Startup. 3. In the "Log on As" box, click to select This Account, and then enter the correct Exchange Service Account. 4. Stop and restart the Exchange Services.
