When you insert a a Microsoft data map object as an icon on a Microsoft Excel worksheet, the data map object window will only be as large as the inserted icon.
After you double-click the data map icon, resize the window by clicking on the maximize button in the upper-right corner of the window.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
