SYMPTOMS
========

Document links (doclinks) that point to a Domino database on UNIX-based systems
cannot convert to Rich Text Format (RTF) when messages with the doclinks are
sent across an Exchange Connector for Lotus Notes.

The Exchange Server user receives a message with an attachment. When the user
opens the attachment, the following message is displayed:

   Notes Link Description:
   Database_Name
   Notes Server:
   CN=Name_of_UNIX_Domino_Server/O=Notes_Domain_Name
   Notes Document Link was not accessible at processing time. Contact sender or
   message source to obtain document link information.


RESOLUTION
==========

A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to
correct the problem described in this article and should be applied only to
systems experiencing this specific problem. This fix may receive additional
testing at a later time, to further ensure product quality. Therefore, if you
are not severely affected by this problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait
for the next Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5 service pack that contains this fix.
