STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.

MORE INFORMATION

Certain wizards and functions that require that a cell or a range of cells be selected do not work correctly if a control, such as a command button, an option button, a check box, or a list box, is active in the worksheet when you use them.

Wizards and functions not listed in this article do not require that a cell or a range of cells be selected. Therefore, the problems described in this article do not occur when you use those wizards or functions. For example, the File Conversion Wizard and the Web Form Wizard work correctly even when a control is active.
