XL98: #NULL! Error Copying Formula That Contains a Label

  SYMPTOMS
  ========

  When you copy a formula from one cell to another, the resulting value is
  a #NULL! error.

  CAUSE
  =====

  This problem occurs when the following conditions are true:

   - You copy a formula that contains both a label and a defined name
     reference.

      -and-

   - The reference to the defined name is located between two label
     references as in the following example:

        =<Label1> <Defined name> <Label2>

  STATUS
  ======

  Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
  listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem
  and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it
  becomes available.

  Microsoft Excel 98 Macintosh Edition introduces natural language
  formulas, which is a method you can use to refer to a cell range in a
  table by using row or column labels as the reference name. Natural
  language formulas use the intersection feature that is available in
  earlier versions of Microsoft Excel.
