MORE INFORMATION ================ When you edit a map using Scenario Builder, by default you are set to deploy units for Player 1 only. To place natural resources using Scenario Builder, follow these steps: 1. Start Age of Empires. 2. On the startup screen, click Scenario Builder. 3. Click Create Scenario. 4. Click Units. 5. In the Player 1 box in the lower-left corner of the screen, click Gaia. 6. Click the natural resource you want to place from the units list, and then click the position on the map where you want to place the resource. 7. Repeat step 6 for each natural resource you want to place.
