SYMPTOMS
========

When you play Microsoft Combat Simulator 2, large areas of terrain may be
displayed without textures.

CAUSE
=====

This behavior can occur if both of the following conditions are true:

 - A Voodoo 3 video adapter is installed in the computer.

 - You enable detail texturing in Combat Flight Simulator 2.

RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this issue, obtain and install the latest video driver for your video
adapter.

To download the latest video driver for the Voodoo 3 video adapter, visit the
following 3Dfx Web site:

   http://www.3dfxgamer.com

To work around this issue, disable detail texturing in Combat Flight Simulator 2.
To do this:

1. Start Combat Flight Simulator 2.

2. On the startup screen, click Settings.

3. Under Display, click Advanced Settings.

4. Click Image Quality.

5. Click to clear the "Detail texturing" check box.

6. Click OK, and then click OK again.
