SYMPTOMS
========

When you play Combat Flight Simulator 2, enemy aircraft may not be displayed on
the Tactical Display.

CAUSE
=====

This behavior can occur if one or more of the following conditions is true:

 - You are not using the correct Tactical Display View (mode).

 - The game configuration file is damaged or has changed.

 - Your video adapter drivers are outdated.

RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this issue, use the following methods in the order in which they are
presented.

Change the Tactical Display View
--------------------------------

To change the Tactical Display view, click Tactical Display on the View menu, and
then click one of the following views:

 - Air
 - Ground
 - Sea
 - Vehicles

To quickly switch between views, press "T" on your keyboard.

Delete the Cfs2.cfg File
------------------------

To delete the Cfs2.cfg file:

1. Click Start, point to Find or Search, and then click "Files or Folders" or
   "For Files or Folders".

2. In the Named or "Search for files or Folders named" box, type "cfs2.cfg"
   (without the quotation marks).

3. In the "Look in" box, click My Computer.

4. Click Find Now or Search Now.

5. In the list of found files, right-click the CFS2.cfg file, and then click
   Delete.

6. When you are prompted to confirm the file deletion, click Yes.

7. Close all of the open windows on the desktop.

Install an Updated Video Driver
-------------------------------

To obtain and install the latest video driver for the video adapter, contact the
manufacturer of your video adapter.

To identify the manufacturer and the model of your video adapter:

1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.

2. Double-click System.

3. If you are using a Microsoft Windows 95-based or a Microsoft Windows 98-based
   computer, click the Device Manager tab.

   If you are using a Microsoft Windows 2000-based computer, click the Hardware
   tab, and then click Device Manager.

4. Click the PLUS SIGN (+) next to "Display adapters" to expand the branch.

5. Under the "Display adapters" branch, note the manufacturer and the model of
   your video adapter, and then click OK.

6. Close all of the open windows on the desktop.
