CAUSE ===== This issue may occur if one or more of the following conditions are true: - Your video adapter drivers are outdated. - Your sound card drivers are outdated. - You are not using the latest version of DirectX. - You have not installed the most recent drivers for your VIA Technologies chipset motherboard. RESOLUTION ========== To resolve this issue, use the following method. NOTE: Because there are several versions of Microsoft Windows, the following steps may be different on your computer. If they are, see your product documentation to complete these steps. Update Your Video Adapter Driver and Your Sound Card Driver: To identify the manufacturer and the model of your video adapter and your sound card, follow these steps: 1. Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click System. 2. On a Microsoft Windows 95, Microsoft Windows 98, or Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition (Me)-based system, click the Device Manager tab.
