If you do not have a printer driver installed in Windows, you receive the following error message when you attempt to start Creative Writer: Creative Writer Needs A Printer. Creative Writer 2 installs successfully without a printer, however the program requires a printer to run. MORE INFORMATION ================ It is not necessary to have a printer connected to your machine, but you must have a printer driver installed in Windows. To select a printer, do the following: 1. Click the Start button, point to Settings, and then click Printers. 2. Double-click the Add Printer icon. 3. Using the Add Printer wizard, add a generic local printer such as the Hewlett Packard Series II printer. 4. Finish the Add Printer wizard. 5. Start Creative Writer (the error message should no longer appear).
