In addition, you may receive the following error message: An invalid media type was specified. CAUSE ===== This behavior can occur if either of the following conditions is true: - The Msgsm32.acm file is missing or damaged. - The Microsoft GSM 6.10 Audio Codec is not installed on your computer. RESOLUTION ========== To resolve this issue: 1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel. 2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs. 3. Click the Windows Setup tab. 4. In the list of components, click Multimedia, and then click Details. NOTE: Do not click the Multimedia check box. 5. Click to select the Audio Compression check box, and then click OK. 6. Click Have Disk. 7. In the "Copy manufacturer's files from " box, click your CD-ROM drive. 8. Insert the Microsoft Windows CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive, and then click OK. 9. Follow the instructions on the screen to install the audio compression components. 10. Close Control Panel.
