SYMPTOMS
========

When you organize pushpins in Microsoft Encarta World Atlas 2001, you may not be
able to open the menu to select a different pushpin.

CAUSE
=====

This behavior can occur when the Microsoft Windows display settings are
configured to use a large or an extra large font size.

RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this issue, select a different font size by using one of the
following methods.

Configure Microsoft Windows to Use a Standard Desktop Scheme
------------------------------------------------------------

To configure Windows to use a standard desktop scheme:

1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.

2. Double-click Display.

3. Click the Appearance tab.

4. In the Scheme box, click Windows Standard, and then click OK.

NOTE: If you need to use large fonts, click "Windows Standard (large)", and then
click OK.

Reduce the Font Size in Windows
-------------------------------

To reduce the font size in Windows:

1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.

2. Double-click Display.

3. On the Settings tab, click Advanced.

4. In the Font Size box, click Small Fonts.

5. Click OK, and then click Close.

6. If you are prompted to restart your computer, do so.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Encarta Interactive
World Atlas 2001.
