Note that the W95y2k.exe program must be installed before installing the Corpupd.exe program. The Windows 95 Year 2000 Corporate Update performs the following actions: - Removes "Windows 95 Year 2000 Update" from the list of installed programs in the Add/Remove Programs tool. - Removes an extraneous copy of the Command.com file from the Windows\Command folder. - Installs an updated Vdhcp.386 (version 4.10.1660) file needed for either the Dial-Up Networking Update (DUN1.3) or Windows Sockets 2.0. - Installs the QfeCheck utility. - Modifies the registry to permit detection by the QfeCheck utility. - Places a file named Corpupd.txt in the Windows folder.
