This problem can usually be eliminated by converting the picture to a 1024 x 767 resolution. This problem does not occur in later versions of Windows. MORE INFORMATION ================ Windows 3.0 and 3.0a -------------------- To convert the image to 1024 x 767 using Windows 3.0 Paintbrush, do the following: 1. Open Paintbrush. 2. Open a 1024 x 768 bitmap. 3. From the View menu, choose View Picture. 4. Press the PRINT SCREEN key on the keyboard to copy the image to the Clipboard. 5. From the Options menu, choose Image Attributes and change Units to pels, change Height to 767 pels, and choose the OK button. 6. From the File menu, choose New, and maximize Paintbrush. 7. From the View menu, choose Zoom Out. 8. From the Edit menu, choose Paste. (This step may need to be done twice.) 9. From the View menu, choose Zoom In. 10. Save the file and it can be used as wallpaper.
