MBS: Custom Resource DLL Bitmap Appear Distored or Degraded

SYMPTOMS

When a Microsoft Windows 95 user upgrades Microsoft Internet Explorer version 3.0x for Membership DPA Authentication, bitmap files on Membership Broker System (MBS) Web sites may appear to be distorted or degraded.

NOTE: This problem only affects Windows 95 clients and MBS Web sites. Other Web sites and Microsoft Windows NT clients are not affected.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Commercial Internet System version 1.0. This problem has been corrected in the latest U.S. Service Pack for Microsoft Commercial Internet System version 1.0.
