MMC Does Not Refresh After You Create New Object

SYMPTOMS

After you create a new object in the Microsoft Management Console (MMC), such as a new site, the MMC does not automatically refresh. In addition, the MMC does not refresh when you press F5.

WORKAROUND

Closing and re-opening the MMC causes it to read the new object and display it correctly. Also, if you use the Webadmin, the objects refresh correctly.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Commercial Internet System version 2. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
