Server Name and Site Name Appear in tblImportObject Records

ID: Q229103

The information in this article applies to:

SYMPTOMS

When you import Usage Import logs using the Store open visits for next import option, the site name and server name appear in tblImportObject records. For example, if your server name is MyServer, your site name is MySite and the URI is /MyURI, the URI field in some of the tblImportObject records will appear as MyServer:MySite/MyURI. This data also appears in reports such as a Top 100 Pages calculation.

CAUSE

When open visits are stored in the log for the next visit, the server and site names are prepended to the URI in the format specified in the SYMPTOMS section.

WORKAROUND

Use the Commit open visits to database option instead of the Store open visits for next import option. Note, that this option will significantly affect the visit count.
