Microsoft Proxy Server does not currently perform Network Address Translation (NAT) as described in RFC 1631.

In brief, Network Address Translators are capable of pairing local IP addresses and globally unique addresses. The main advantage of NAT is that it can be installed without changes to routers or hosts.
