FIX: Address Book in Send Mail Task Adds Only First Address

SYMPTOMS

If you create a DTS package and add a Send Mail task, you can select only one address at a time as the recipient from the Address Book. In the Send Mail Properties window for the DTS package, if you click the To... button in the To field to open the Address Book and select two or more names, only the first name is added to the field.

WORKAROUND

You must select one recipient at a time for the Send Mail task. Each new recipient will be added to the existing list of recipients.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in SQL Server version 7.0. This problem has been corrected in U.S. Service Pack 1 for Microsoft SQL Server version 7.0. For information about downloading and installing the latest SQL Server Service Pack, see http://support.microsoft.com/support/sql/.
